YOUNG WYKE TALENT SPOTTED EARLY BY CITY

5 years ago By WWAFC Admin

Wyke would like to congratulate Ellis Farrar from the under 9's on his selection for the Bradford City under 9 team.

Ellis Farrar, who plays as a goalkeeper, has now moved from Wyke Wanderers to Bradford City to represent their under 9's. It is just reward for a player who's coach, Andy Pickersgill, describes as having an excellent attitude and is a pleasure to coach.

It also shows that the hard work, commitment and coaching of volunteer Andy and his fellow volunteer coaches at the under 9's and earlier is now getting rewards that all the other players are also benefitting from.

The club and Andy will be watching Ellis's progression with a keen eye and wishes Ellis all the best with him knowing he will be always be welcome at Wyke Wanderers.
